The international Research Network for Textile Conservation, Dress and Textile History, and Technical Art History was established at the Centre for Textile Conservation and Techincal Art History thanks to a grant from the Getty Foundation. You can now keep up to date with developments through the Network's new webpages. The Research Network benefits from the input of an international advisory panel which inlcudes such members as David Saunders (Keeper, Dept of Conservation and Scientific Research, British Museum),
The Research Network's next meeting, Enhancing the value of collections: investigation and preservation takes place on 30 March 2012. Among the issues this meeting will address are:
