Update and Happy New Year

Happy New Year from all the former staff of the TCC and from the Trustees of the TCC Foundation.

Discussions about a future for some of the TCC's work have been continuing: a great deal of activity has taken place during November and December.  We had hoped to be able to make an announcement about this before Christmas, but the timing of various meetings means that we will not be in a position to do so until mid January.

If you know of anyone who might be interested in studying textile conservation do suggest that they contact us via this website. We do not yet know whether we will be in a position to announce that a textile conservation course will commence again in October 2010, but we very much hope that will be possible.  If anyone who is interested contacts us now we will make sure that we let them know as soon as there is news.

Many thanks once again to all those of you who have been so supportive in the period leading up to and following the TCC's closure. It was a difficult time for everyone but, in typical TCC style, the team spirit and good humour carried us through.
