Outreach

The TCC staff and students have welcomed many thousands of visitors to see their work, both during Open Days and also during tours for special interest groups.  Everyone at the TCC was always delighted to share their enthusiasm for their work, and our visitors were always fascinated to know more.

Public engagement was also an important element in the work of the AHRC Research Centre for Textile Conservation and Textile Studies with two exhibitions, a website (accessed by thousands each month) as well as articles and TV features about the research undertaken.
