PG Diploma in Textile Conservation (1978-1999)
Students on the PG Diploma in Textile Conservation at the TCC in Hampton Court Palace.
The MATC at the University of Southampton was preceded by the three-year, Postgraduate Diploma Course in Textile Conservation, provided by the TCC in conjunction with the Courtauld Institute of Art. This course started in 1978 with the first Diplomas being awarded in 1981 and the last Diploma awards being made in 2000.
In their final year the students on the PG Dip undertook first one and then, in later years, two projects. A list of the titles of students' final reports are attached here as a pdf.
